Do yourselves a favor and stop by, pick ANY pastry and experience for yourselves why you cannot just "go next door to Baked" to enjoy such delicacies.
Sweet Claire's is amazing, you should try it! It has the best Eggs Benedict in town we've tried. The pastries are always fresh, and the selection is great -- you'll find many things you won't find in other bakeries. Very vegetarian friendly too.
I've worked in this bakery from its very beginning and love it. From the atmosphere to the attitude (except for grumps like Ben) to -most especially- the FOOD. She has grown this place to a Bloomington hotspot. And despite working there, I STILL enjoy eating here on my free time!
She is in such demand that we had to extend our brunch hours to the entire weekend and we still sell out every time!
Sweet Claire's is awesome! I feel like it is a hidden gem of Bloomington. Amazing sandwiches, great cookies, and the iced tea is great too!! Lots of unique baked items. Definitely recommend giving it a try!
